Code of Conduct/Expectations
Swimmers will follow the rules of Exchange Pool and the competition pools.
Swimmers will be on time for all practices and meets. We ask the swimmers to arrive ready to swim. That means having your goggles, swim cap and nose plugs if needed to swim. Practices run much more smoothly when the swimmers are paying attention and listening. If you can't attend or will be late contact the coaches.
If constant redirection is occurring with a swimmer, we may ask them to take a break on the bench to regroup. Swimmers will treat their peers, coaches and opponents with respect. We should promote good sportsmanship when competing.
Swimmers must sign up for meets at least 3 days prior to the date of the meet.
Weather Policies
We swim in the rain unless there is thunder/lightning. The coach will contact the swimmers via email/text if practice is canceled. Coaches will post on the Rockets Facebook page as well for updates. They will be issued at least an hour before practices are set to start.
Practice Groups
The coaches will assign the children to a practice group based on age and swimming ability. Coaches treat all swimmers equally, no swimmer is left behind.
